Viewing the data of e-Business Register will be free of charge from 1 October 2022.
The e-Business Register Open Data environment has been created for the large-scale use of register data digitally or in a machine-readable format, which enables the cross-use and reuse of data. At the same time, it is important to point out that API (XML) services and downloadable data sets only contain public data of the e-Business Register, which has been possible to view before as well, but for a service fee
Open data files can be downloaded by anyone in an open data environment. In order to use AOU services, a contract for the use of services in the e-business register environment must first be concluded.
The data of all legal entities registered in Estonia can continue to be consulted on the e-Business Register portal, but viewing the data will be free of charge from 1 October 2022.
The service fee will only apply to documents in the public files of non-profit organizations, which may contain special types of personal data; as well as for data inherited from the European Business Register (EBR).
