The new e-Business Register to be launched at the end of August will cause an interruption in the services

On 30 August, the new e-Business Register will be launched, consolidating all the services of the register from making queries to submitting petitions into a single user friendly environment. The Ministry of Justice reminds that in connection with the transition, there will be an extensive interruption in the services of the e-Business Register from 27 to 29 August.

“The e-Business Register is a judicial register with extensive legal effect, and both the private sector and public sector can rely on the accuracy of data therein. The new portal is more convenient and user friendly because compared to the previous version, all services offered by the register are consolidated into a single environment. In the future, amending data, doing a background check on companies and submitting annual reports is all possible in the same place,” said Viljar Peep, Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Justice.

The Centre of Registers and Information Systems has prepared a video available here to introduce the solutions offered by the new e-Business register.

During the interruption in the portals, submitting petitions for entry, data on beneficial owners, annual reports, changes to the lists of members of political parties to the registration department or viewing register data will be unavailable. The interruption will concern all services offered by the e-Business Register: X-Road services, XML queries, API service, and e-Financials software.

The Company Registration portal (the current view for submitting petitions and data) will be unavailable from 23:59 o’clock on 26 August, the information system for making queries and other services from 12:00 o’clock on 27 August. Electronic submission of petitions and retrieval of data in the e-Business Register will return on 30 August 2021. The web address of the register will remain ariregister.rik.ee.

The Centre of Registers and Information Systems has notified the contractual customers and cooperation partners of the e-Business Register of the planned interruption and has published notices in the register portals.
