Absences and holidays

In order to manage absences and holidays, you should go to the program menu and select Personnel > Absences and holidays.

In the Absences and Holidays sub-module, there are two tabs: Absences and Holidays and Holiday Calculation.

In the Absences and Holidays tab, you can add absences and holidays of employees and members of the management for compensation purposes.

Absences and holidays can be filtered and sorted. It is possible to filter according to the start/end date, type and person. Once you have selected parameters for the filter, you need to click on the ‘View’ button to display the results; if you want to clear the filter, you need to click on the ‘Clear filter’ button. For filtering, you can enter search dates on the start and end date fields. If you enter only the start date, the program will search for entries made on and after the respective date. If you enter the end date, the program will find all entries made until that date. If you enter both the start and the end date, the program will find all entries within that period.

Sorting is possible based on a name, personal identity code / date of birth, start date, end date, number of days absent, national holidays during the absence and type/comment.

A new absence can be added in the program menu by selecting Personnel > Absences and holidays > Add an absence.

A window opens that contains:

•      The person with a valid contract – you can select a person with a valid contract from a drop-down menu.

•      Absence type – must be selected from a drop-down menu.

•      Start – beginning of the absence.

•      End – end of the absence.

•      Comment.

In order to open and change an already added absence/holiday, you need to click on ‘Change’.

Holiday tab is informative and displays the leave days of employees, which have been used during the present and the previous year.

Holiday calculations can be sorted according to the year and the person. Once you have selected parameters for the filter, you need to click on the ‘View’ button to display the results; if you want to clear the filter, you need to click on the ‘Clear filter’ button.
